Aluminum Body Tool Shroud

Clayton Associates

October 12, 2015 - Products

Clayton Associates' aluminum body tool shrouds optimize safety and performance for repair work on aluminum bodies when shops need vacuum capture for collision repair.

Clayton's shrouds are made of crystal clear Lexan and don't obscure the edges of the abrasive discs so users can see the work surface. Each shroud includes a mandrel, 2-foot-by-1-inch hose whip, and swivel adapter to connect the tool to 1-inch vacuum hoses.

The shrouds fit any tool with a 1/4-inch collet and swivel freely around the mandrel so the hose can be easily repositioned. The shrouds work with other grinders and run at a recommended speed of 12,000 rpm or maximum speed of 20,000 rpm.
