Extended Life Engine Treatment

April 24, 2015 - Products

Prolong Extended Life Engine Treatment is formulated with the company's Anti-Friction Metal Treatment, advanced technology that chemically bonds to metal surfaces in the engine and creates a protective layer that prevents metal-on-metal grinding, which can cause unwanted friction and increased heat.

It's designed to restore engine efficiency, optimize fuel economy and protect the engine in the event of oil or coolant loss. The Extended Life formula provides these benefits throughout longer oil change intervals of today's vehicles, up to 12,000 miles.

The Extended Life Engine Treatment is poured directly into the engine crankcases and is recommended for use as part of regular vehicle maintenance. Prolong products do not alter the viscosity of the motor oil or transmission fluid and car owners are encouraged to follow manufacturer's recommendations regarding oil weights and service schedules.
