The Mohave County, Ariz., fleet has requested to increase the rate to maintain county vehicles from $75 a month to $150 a month — and decrease the mileage rate from 39 cents to 25 cents per mile, the Mohave Valley Daily News reported.
The monthly rate includes fuel and repairs to support the fleet’s 240 vehicles.
The fund for fleet expenses totaled $2 million at the end of the 2015-2016 fiscal-year but has dropped the last two years as some of the money was transferred to the general fund.
City council has tabled the discussion.
