Government Fleet is conducting a technician survey to ask technicians what keeps them in their jobs and discover ways fleet management can help retain experienced employees.

Many government fleet managers have expressed concern about the lack of technicians applying for government fleet jobs and the competition with salaries offered by dealerships and independent repairs shops.

This is your chance to find out what keeps technicians happy, what they like and dislike, and whether they would recommend a fleet technician career to their friends and family.

This survey is open to fleet technicians, parts staff, and other fleet positions not in administration. Fleet managers can print surveys out for distribution to staff or send technicians the link to take it online.

The 15-minute survey is due Tuesday, April 28 and can be completed online or printed and mailed/faxed to Government Fleet. All responses are anonymous.
