The MEMA-OH Regional Chapter had its second meeting at Ohio State University with good attendance. The board and membership continue to grow, with more than 55 members. Terri Smith has joined the board as coordinator.

Jim Durand, from OSU's Center for Automotive Research (CAR), hosted the meeting, and attendees were able to take pictures with the cars at the center, see working students, and view the end products of students working in the OSU programs.

Attendees also toured the programs for the all-electric race motorcycle being prepped for its next race in Ireland and the fastest all-electric car.

The chapter is currently working on consolidated training opportunities in a number of areas including gaseous fuels; OEM-specific EVT training; and testing and hydraulics.

Clean Fuels Ohio (a member) is open to being the conduit for both state and federally funded resources for training as the Clean Cities Coordinator for Ohio.

The chapter's next meeting is scheduled for May 15 at the Dublin Community Recreation Center.
