February 25, 2014

The Santa Cruz County (Calif.) Sheriff's Office is investigating a suspected arson in which three county fleet vehicles were found heavily damaged by fire.

Investigators believe an accelerant such as gasoline was used to burn two Ford vans and an SUV parked next to them, reports the Santa Cruz Sentinel.

The vehicles, which were part of the county's motor pool, were found on fire at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
