GFX 2013: Culver City Named the No. 1 Fleet

June 12, 2013

Government Fleet magazine and the 100 Best Fleets program named the Top 20 fleets in the 100 Best Fleets program, as well as the No. 1 fleet, at the annual awards ceremony held at the Government Fleet Expo & Conference (GFX). The No. 1 fleet is the City of Culver City, Calif. Paul Condran, equipment maintenance/fleet manager, accepted the award on behalf of the City fleet department.

In 2012, the Culver City fleet redesigned the fleet utilization and replacement program; revised its benchmarking program to reflect 2012 staff levels, skills, and fleet demands; and with its continued commitment to compressed natural gas (CNG) for its transit fleet, continues to be valuable source of knowledge for the local community and agencies looking to switch to CNG.
