VSU Awards Fleet Maintenance Contract to Shenandoah

PETERSBURG, VA - Virginia State University chose Shenandoah Fleet Maintenance and Management, LLC, to provide management and maintenance to its vehicle fleet under a subcontract to Campus Facilities Services as of the first of the year, according to a release issued by Shenandoah.

Under the multi-year contract, the company is providing maintenance for the University's passenger and service vehicles and buses, including related logistics support that addresses the management of all required parts inventory and purchasing activities.

The service that Shenandoah Fleet Maintenance and Management is providing at Virginia State University is an important part of providing maximum quality of life to the students, faculty, and administration of the school. By eliminating the task of maintaining and operating the fleet for Virginia State University, the company is aiding the University to focus on its core mission of educating a diverse student body, according to the release.
