KISSIMMEE, FL – The Osceola County Commission has approved the Sheriff's Office to buy a local Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge dealership for $5.6 million. The County plans to use the property as a Sheriff's Office fleet facility and expects to close on the contract within the next month, according to the Orlando Business Journal.

The 40,000-square-foot building on a nearly 8-acre site — appraised at $6.5 million — would be used for a "much-needed fleet facility" for the Sheriff's Office, the County said in a news release. The dealership is adjacent to the Sheriff's Office.
