The Hardwire Transparent Armor Window Insert is a custom-designed piece of transparent armor that seamlessly covers the existing window in a police car door. It provides ballistic protection for the officer inside the vehicle while still allowing for community engagement. The insert does not interfere with door and window hardware, handles, or locks and does not require any modifications to the car.

Currently, the insert is available for Ford Taurus MY 2010-2016, Ford Explorer MY 2011-2016, Chevy Impala MY 2006-2013, and Chevy Tahoe MY 2007-2014.
