The City of Wilmington, N.C. Police Department has acquired an ice cream truck as part of its community policing initiative. The refurbished van is outfitted with a freezer, lights, and music, WECT reported.

The van, called Frozen Five-0, was one the city was about to auction off. Upfitting and buying a freezer cost $1,900.
