IGS CNG Services and the City of Dayton, Ohio, have opened their compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station at the city’s existing fueling station at the Department of Public Works. The station will be available for both Dayton city fleet vehicles and the public, according to IGS CNG Services.

The Dayton location is the ninth IGS CNG Services station open to the public. Of the nine stations, IGS CNG Services has one currently under construction in Obetz, Ohio, along with four active stations in Ohio and three in West Virginia, according to the company.

“This new station supports IGS CNG Services’ goal of ensuring that customers can easily find a location to fuel with compressed natural gas, while also building out a CNG infrastructure in the Midwest,” said Scott White, president and CEO of IGS Energy, sister company of IGS CNG Services.

The station will support light-, medium-, and heavy-duty CNG-fueled vehicles, IGS CNG Services said.
