SCHAUMBURG, IL - Forty government fleets were recognized at the Green Fleet Conference awards ceremony on Wednesday. The award is evaluated based on standards in fleet composition, fuel and emissions, policy and planning, fleet utilization, education, executive and employee involvement, and supporting programs.

SCHAUMBURG, IL - Tom Johnson, author of the 100 Best Fleets, announced the winners of the Government Green Fleet awards at the Green Fleet Conference on Wednesday. The City of Riverside, Calif., was named the No. 1 Government Green Fleet. The award is evaluated based on standards in fleet composition, fuel and emissions, policy and planning, fleet utilization, education, executive and employee involvement, and supporting programs. Awards recipients in order are:
