City of Sacramento to Participate in Vectrix Fleet Program

April 16, 2008

SACRAMENTO, CA – Sacramento’s Mayor Heather Fargo recently annouced the city will become the second city in the U.S. to participate in a fleet program with Vectrix.

Following in the footsteps of the New York Police Department, Vectrix ZEVs will be used by Sacramento Parking Enforcement and Police Department for a low-cost, three-month trial period, with the option to purchase if the trial run succeeds.

Sacramento is the first city in California to participate in the program.
