Colorado Senate Passes Bill Requiring Alt-Fuel Fleet Vehicle Purchases for State Entities

Colorado Senate Bill 13-070 requires State entities to purchase vehicles that operate on compressed natural gas (CNG), or other alternative fuels, as long as the increased cost of the vehicle is not more than 10% of the cost of a comparable dedicated petroleum vehicle.

Chattanooga’s New Energy Policy Mandates Alt-Fuel Vehicle Purchases

CHATTANOOGA, TN – Chattanooga Mayor Ron Littlefield's Executive Order No. 2012-01 states that by 2015, at least 25% of new light-duty vehicles acquired by City agencies must be alternative-fuel vehicles, one of various mandates to reduce energy use.
