ATLANTA – NexTraq, the value leader of GPS fleet tracking and vehicle management solutions, spent 2011 focused on its commitment to customer service and providing industry leading advances in the telematics industry. This focus and dedication resulted in a successful company rebrand, award wins and new office space to accommodate a 38 percent employee headcount increase.

“We approached 2011 as a year for refinement and growth and the result has been remarkable on all fronts. Our efforts enabled us to continue our industry-first trend with the addition of one-minute reporting and long-term customer data retention as a standard offering,” explains Mike Scarbrough, CEO of NexTraq. “Our name change and rebrand pulled together 10 years of design innovation and technological advances in fleet tracking. This continued commitment and its resulting success led us to expand our employee count and office space to better serve new and existing customers.”

New Frontiers

The telematics industry is poised for continued growth throughout 2012 and NexTraq has equipped itself to be on the forefront of this expansion.  With the addition of Skype integration, which provides dispatchers more options to reach drivers and field workers, ultimately easing communication and making fleet operations more efficient, NexTraq’s Fleet Dispatch solution put customers one step ahead of a new DOT rule banning the use of handheld cell phones by interstate and bus drivers.

Through its Web Services offering, an open platform that enables integration of fleet data with third party applications, NexTraq launched a solution allowing customers to align their geographic information system (GIS) mapping technology with the NexTraq Fleet Tracking platform. As a result, fleet managers can better leverage their existing investments in location technology.

Unparalleled Customer Satisfaction

NexTraq’s commitment to technical advances and its unprecedented customer satisfaction led to its  nomination and recognition as a leading Business and Vertical Solutions company by the Wireless Applications and Mobile Media Awards (WAMM) presented by the Wireless Technology Forum, the leading organization in the Southeast representing the wireless and mobile community. Other companies represented in the category included Delta Airlines, SalesForce.com and McKesson Corporation.

Results from the 2011 Annual Customer Survey, show that 95 percent of NexTraq customers would be willing to refer the NexTraq Fleet Tracking platform to another business or associate.

“We pride ourselves on being a customer-centric, tech-forward service organization. The results of our customer survey and our tremendous growth leave us knowing that we have delivered on our promise to our customers,” adds Scarbrough.  “We look forward to serving and growing with our customers in 2012 and beyond.”
