Montgomery County, Ind., is scrambling to prepare for snow after a fire destroyed its plow fleet. It solicited and received snow plow loans from various cities and counties from around the state, WTHITV reported.

Additionally, surrounding counties have agreed to plow beyond their boundaries to help out.

The county cannot buy replacement plows until it receives insurance money for the fire, which is still being investigated.
