Pico Rivera Adds Hybrids to Fleet

June 02, 2011

PICO RIVERA, CA – The City of Pico Rivera has purchased three Ford Fusion hybrids for its Public Safety Division with South Coast Air Quality Management District funds, according to the Whittier Daily News.

According to the article, parking enforcement officers will drive the hybrids. The vehicles that the Fusions replaced went into the Public Works Department’s motor pool.

For the complete story, visit Whittier Daily News’ site.

Correction: We erroneously had Whittier, Calif. listed as the City that purchased the hybrid vehicles and have since updated the story to reflect that the City was Pico Rivera, Calif.
