GREENSBORO, NC - For more than 15 years, Guilford County has been buying gas from the City of Greensboro. That's now changed after a ruling from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) stated that it wasn't legal for counties or cities to sell gas to other entities, public or private, according to The Rhinoceros Times.

Steve Simpson, fleet manager for the City of Greensboro, said Greensboro has now halted sales to all of its previous gas customers, according to the newspaper.
