Desert Hot Springs Fills Tires with Nitrogen

DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA - Desert Hot Springs is the first city in the Coachella Valley to begin filling all city vehicle tires with nitrogen, according to The Desert Sun.

The City of Desert Hot Springs announced it expects the tires to last longer and thus save money in replacements, reported the Sun.

Nitrogen Replacement in Tires provided the technology at no cost, paid for by an anonymous donor, the Sun reported.
