HODGKINS, IL – OPW Fuel Management Systems, part of OPW Fueling Components, has scheduled its next onsite product-training seminar for Mar. 25-28 in Chicago. The seminar has been designed to help ensure that service personnel are more effective through hands-on training with the K800 and System2 products, along with providing an overview on Network Interfaces.

The seminar will be held in Chicago at the Holiday Inn Countryside. The seminars will begin at 8 a.m. CDT and will continue until 5 p.m. on each of the four days. The cost of the four-day training course is $350 per person; application and payment must be received two to four weeks in advance of the seminar.

During the seminar, instructors will introduce service personnel to the K800 and System2 start-ups and the general operation of the products. Attendees are asked to bring a laptop computer and voltage meter to the seminar. This is a required course to certify or re-certify for fuel-control product testing. OPW FMS will award certificates of achievement on systems that are covered during the seminar. In order to receive certification, attendees must pass a mandatory test on each system.

OPW Fuel Management Systems has also posted the date and time for its virtual product-training seminars in March, which are free to qualified OPW FMS distributors and technicians: Mar. 4, from 9-11 a.m. CST. This course is designed to demonstrate the use of the System2 Phoenix Premier, FSC3000 Fuel Site Controller, and ARTWare software, and to prepare technicians to successfully complete virtual labs and product certification.
