15th Annual BusCon Coming to Navy Pier, Chicago

September 13, 2010

CHICAGO - BusCon, America's convention for buses, will take place at Chicago's Navy Pier September 28-30. Over 50 buses and a wide variety of leading-edge bus accessories and equipment will be on display in the exhibit hall. Designed for the private- and public-sector decision makers in the bus industry, this year's convention is themed "Paving the Road to Success."

The Welcome Reception kicks off the event on September 28. The two-day conference offers seminars, panels, and workshops, and roundtable discussions addressing regulatory, safety, and customer service issues. Sessions are divided into four separate tracks for ease of scheduling.

Session topics include customer service best practices, alternative fuels, financing, university transit system revamping, shop safety and OSHA compliance, tire retreading, and securing grant funding.
