Case Construction Equipment’s CX210D LR and CX250D LR crawler excavators provide increased operating performance for deep trenching, sloping, demolition, dredging, digging in sand or gravel pits, or any application that requires long-distance bucket reach and precision. Each Long Reach (LR) model features an elongated boom and arm for increased digging capabilities in deep or long-distance digging applications, while providing the same improved responsiveness and multifunction controls of the D Series, the company stated.

Basic Operating Specs:

  • CX210D LR: (160 hp; 51,900 lbs.; Max dig radius: 51 feet, 2 inches;
    Max dig depth: 39 feet, 4 inches; bucket digging force: 14,600 lb.-ft.)
  • CX250D LR: (177 hp; 63,523 lbs.; Max dig radius: 60 feet, 1 inch;
    Max dig depth: 47 feet, 9 inches; bucket digging force: 17,310 lb.-ft.)

The CX210D LR and CX250D LR both employ an SCR Tier 4 Final solution that provides greater fuel efficiency (CX210D LR — up to 9% savings, CX250D LR — up to 14%) without sacrificing power. SCR lets the engine run at peak performance throughout the work cycle and, because it works without a diesel particulate filter (DPF), there’s no DPF regeneration or associated lifetime service costs.
