Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas’ R180W-9A wheeled excavator features an interim Tier 4 engine upgrade. It is ideal for construction and utility projects that require travel such as road and highway demolition and repair.

The R180W-9A has an operating weight of 38,100 lbs. and is powered by a 155-hp Cummins QSB6.7 engine. Electronically controlled fuel injection and diagnostic capabilities add to the engine’s efficiency and serviceability. The R180W-9A boasts a dig depth of 19 feet, 5 inches, a bucket digging force of 26,330 lbs., and bucket capacity of .99 cubic yards.

Hyundai’s R180W-9A wheeled excavator offers an optional fully independent outrigger system for added stability. This model can be equipped with four independent outriggers (front and rear) or two independent outriggers (front or rear). A rear dozer blade comes standard. The outriggers and the dozer blade are controlled by a switch and the dozer lever.

The R180W-9A features a hydraulically actuated, orbital type steering system. Two arm configurations are available on the R180W-9A, a 17-foot, 1 inch mono boom or 17-foot, 1 inch hydraulic adjustable boom.
