The HL740-9 and the HL757-9 wheel loaders are part of the new 9 series. The wheel loaders provide fast cycle times for many job applications including moving gravel, sand, or other materials in general construction or agricultural projects, or moving stone and pipe in utility applications. Operators can easily switch out a bucket for a fork.

Both the HL740-9 (145 hp) and the HL 757-9 (173 hp) are powered by reliable, fuel-efficient, low-noise Cummins Tier-III QSB6.7 engines, electronically controlled for optimum fuel-to-air ratio and clean, efficient combustion. Operators will appreciate the flexibility of three engine modes (Power, Standard, or Econo), which range from full power to reduced fuel consumption.

  • Tool Master (TM) is appropriate for jobs requiring special attachments, such as forks, log grapples or hay handlers.
  • Extend Reach (XTD) are for projects requiring a higher dump height, such as loading material into high sided dump trucks or use in feed lot applications.

Newly designed cabins feature advanced color monitors with 5.7-inch wide color LCD screens, mounted on adjustable swivel-mounts for reduced glare, allowing the operator to easily control the machine. Cab interior provides standard amenities such as automatic AC/heat, heated rear-view mirrors, hands-free phone, personal storage space, and AM/FM radio/MP3 interface/USB ports.

Both models come standard with Hi-mate, Hyundai's proprietary remote management system that provides operators and dealer service personnel access to vital service and diagnostic information via an online portal. Hi-mate promotes preventative maintenance and reducing machine downtime. Plus, both models are equipped with long-life hydraulic filters that now have 1,000-hour service intervals, and Hyundai-certified hydraulic oil can last up to 5,000 hours before changing.
