Stringo vehicle movers are designed to increase efficiency in moving and utilization of floor space to improve work environments and safety, a company representative stated. Using the vehicle mover, technicians don’t need to leave space to open the driver door, resulting in less surface area needed for parking. Surface area for parking can be decreased by 25%, according to the company.

The capacity of the Stringo 450 vehicle mover was recently upgraded 50% to three metric tons, meaning that the  mover can now also move vans and light trucks as well as lighter vehicles.

The mover can turn on its own back wheels axis, which provides efficient use of surface areas. For the Stringo 450, the turning radius needed is the vehicle’s length plus 700 mm. Since January, the product has also been furnished with an audible warning when the battery needs to be charged. The battery normally provides six hours of continuous operation and can be charged in the nearest electrical outlet.

The Stringo 450 includes a ride-on platform option for the operator that enhances safety, is ergonomically beneficial, and increases efficiency. Since the vehicle’s engine will not be used, there is no risk of exhaust emissions. Operators handle the product using push buttons.

There are six basic Stringo models available for various vehicle weights and distances: CM, 360, 450, 475, 550, 500, and 700.
