E-One, a division of Rev Group, announced the release of its new HR 100 aluminum aerial ladder. The HR 100 offers increased firefighting capabilities for E-One's newest fire apparatus, the single-rear-axle Metro 100 Quint, released earlier this year. The added performance includes a waterway piped to the tip, an increased tip load rating, and an extended range of motion.

The HR 100 features a 500-lb. tip load rating when wet or dry, a 100-ft. vertical reach and 92-ft. horizontal reach, and 75-lb. equipment allowance at the tip. It uses direct hydraulic controls or E-One's Advanced Aerial Control System. It also uses E-One's criss-cross under-slung outrigger system with a jack spread of only 11 feet.

The HR 100 can extend to reach low angles, offering a range of motion from -6 to 81 degrees.
