TORRANCE, CA - At the 2012 Government Fleet Expo and Conference in Denver, one of the sessions involved fleet managers gathering into groups to solve specific industry challenges and then presenting solutions to that challenge to everyone attending the session. Each table’s group nominated someone to present their solution. Government Fleet magazine staff took a number of individuals nominated to present solutions aside after the session and recorded them on video.
In the first two videos, shown below, you can see fleet managers’ solutions to a number of challenges that today’s public sector fleet manager faces.
During the round table discussion at GFX 2012, Loveland, Colo.,'s fleet manager Steve Kibler talked about how to manage aging fleets.
During another round table discussion during GFX 2012, Paul Hanson, director of state fleet services for North Dakota's Dept. of Transportation, talked with other state fleet managers about issues specific to their type of government entity.
