Fleet Toolbox’s fleetSHARE
In this era of social networks that are blurring the personal and professional worlds, we here at Government Fleet want to provide public sector fleet managers with a private, professionally focused network, called fleetSHARE, that helps them work together to tackle industry challenges.

Last week we here at Government Fleet magazine introduced you to Fleet Toolbox and the wide range of features it offers. One of the first free features that you find in Fleet Toolbox is called fleetSHARE.
In this era of social networks that are blurring the personal and professional worlds, we here at Government Fleet want to provide public sector fleet managers with a private, professionally focused network that helps them work together to tackle industry challenges.
fleetSHARE is a social network designed specifically for public sector fleet managers. It allows fleet managers to pose questions to other fleet professionals and get feedback. It’s also a community where fleet managers can discuss the challenges they face, and solutions to those challenges, with their industry peers.
One useful aspect of this social network is the ability to search for other users based on a range of options. Search criteria include finding a user based on agency type, by geographic area, by expertise, by the association(s) a user belongs to, or by job title.
fleetSHARE provides each user with a record of their posts and replies to their posts. It also can provide email updates when a user receives a reply, and a weekly email digest of posts from other users.
Government Fleet magazine staff are the only non-fleet manager users who are members of the network, which means if a user wants to share news about their fleet with those of us on the magazine, fleetSHARE is a great place to do that. Note that Government Fleet magazine staff will not take private material from fleetSHARE for use in articles without a user's express permission.
If a user wants to communicate privately with another user on fleetSHARE, he or she can send, and reply to, private messages. The Web application keeps a record of a user's private messages as well.
Sign up here for a free Lite Fleet Toolbox account today to see what fleetSHARE has to offer.
