SPRINGDALE, AR - The Springdale Police Department may add newer models of its original police cruisers into its fleet, according to 4029tv.com.

The department has been driving Dodge Chargers since 2007, but Police Chief O'Kelley wants to add six new Ford Crown Victorias.

Many local law enforcement departments changed over to the new Chargers when they were updated by Dodge in 2006. Springdale is the first department to change back to the Crown Victoria, reported 4029tv.com.
