The City of Stamford Deploys RoadBASE to Gain Real-Time Control Over Rising Fleet Running Costs

FITCHBURG, MA – The City of Stamford, Conn., has recently implemented Chevin Fleet Solutions enterprise fleet management information system, RoadBASE, to gain control over rising fleet running costs while allowing real-time access to all of the fleet’s disparate operating data.

The City of Stamford maintains a diverse Department of Public Works fleet and benefits from RoadBASE’s workshop, inventory, warranty, campaign and recall, and driver and accident management capabilities. RoadBASE’s asset-centric architecture supports the City of Stamford’s complex equipment and attached equipment inventory requirements while enabling complete vehicle and equipment assignment and preventive maintenance management.

Capturing complete equipment attributes, RoadBASE has replaced numerous City systems with a single integrated system. To streamline administrative workload while providing comprehensive oversight over every fuel transaction, RoadBASE automatically integrates with the City’s fuel management system, automatically uploading all fuel transactions and ensuring that this high cost area is tracked to produce maximum cost savings.
