100 Best Fleets Announce "Implementing Best Business Practices" seminar on July 25.

SAN FRANCISCO - The 100 Best Fleets in North America and Government Fleet magazine present “Implementing Best Business Practices” on July 25 at the new state-of-the-art fleet facility in Palm Beach County, Florida. The event will start from 9:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Also a tour of the facility will be provided by Doug Weichman, one of the three finalists for Government Fleet magazine's 2008 Public Sector of the Year Award.

This roundtable discussion will include:

  •  Fleet managers who have saved $700,000 in fuel this year through technology.
  • A comprehensive site for all alternative fuel grants for all vehicles (Atlanta just secured a $5 million dollar grant), another fleet manager saved $250,000 on replacements this year, one manager placed an ad for techs and filled 5 positions immediately with this ad.

This will also include an expo of the newest fuel efficient hybrid trucks.
