SAN DIEGO – The Government Fleet Expo and Conference will offer the NAFA Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) on June 8. Attendees interested in participating need to register before the May 23 exam application deadline at www.nafa.org/exams.

CAFM is the most recognized certification program among fleet managers and employers. Many employers encourage or require fleet managers to obtain the CAFM certification prior to or shortly after employment. The CAFM program continues to meet the high expectations of employers and fleet managers.

The CAFM certification program offers the most up-to-date fleet management education. The CAFM certification program curriculum is based on NAFA's Fleet Management Education Model disciplines and competencies with practical assessment exercises throughout the curriculum to reinforce fleet management principles and knowledge.

With the CAFM certification program, fleet managers master the core disciplines of fleet management on a broad scale. Candidates will learn about fleet management principles and best practices from multiple organizational type perspectives, which ultimately results in a well-rounded fleet professional, who is prepared for success regardless of what type fleet they will manage throughout their career.

The CAFM curriculum and exams reflect NAFA's Fleet Management Education Model. Multiple-choice exams are administered for each of the eight curriculum disciplines.

Exam Disciplines:

  • Asset Management
  • Maintenance Management
  • Business Management
  • Professional Development
  • Fleet Information Mgmt.
  • Risk Management
  • Financial Management
  • Vehicle Fuel Management

For complete information, syllabus and enrollment application go to www.nafa.org/certification or contact Kimla Beasley at kbeasley@nafa.org.
