CCG Partners With GSA

ARTICLE TOOLS        | E-MailPrint RSS

NORFOLK, VA – CCG Systems, Inc., developer of the FASTER Fleet Management System, has been awarded a U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) contract effective February 2008. Since vendors on GSA Schedule offer competitive pricing and services, it eliminates the need for the time-consuming RFP/bid process. With federal fleet agencies now mandated to purchase fleet management systems, federal agencies can purchase directly from the GSA Schedule.

“It’s wonderful to have this kind of opportunity to be a part of the cooperative purchasing program,” said CCG/FASTER’s Procurement Coordinator Eden Mosher. “I know we all look forward to offering the best price available to those that choose to purchase off the GSA Schedule whether they are prospects or current customers.”

Listed as General Purpose Commercial Information Technology Equipment, Software and Services, FASTER is an off-the-shelf work-order-based solution with a flexible design supporting each organization’s unique way of doing business. FASTER C/S deploys via client server with several modes of deployment and also through application hosting. The Web version, FASTER 3G, is currently under development and is expected to be released sometime this year.
