City of Moline and Waco Transit Acquire FASTER Fleet Management System

ARTICLE TOOLS        | E-MailPrint Subscribe
NORFOLK, VA – The City of Moline, Ill., and Waco Transit, Texas, have implemented CCG Systems, Inc.’s FASTER fleet management system. The City of Moline’s Fleet Maintenance Division provides 85 percent scheduled and 15 percent unscheduled equipment maintenance of about 600 pieces of mixed inventory with five percent overall downtime. The division’s PM program incorporates recommended manufacturers’ suggested guidelines along with its internal utilization reports.

Providing public transportation to the citizens of Waco and its surrounding communities, Waco Transit maintains a fleet of 32 buses, 15 vans, and 10 vehicles. Their services include a fixed-route bus service within the City of Waco, Baylor University Shuttle (B.U.S.), and a Para transit van service for individuals with special transportation needs. They also maintain a small fleet of replica trolleys that can be rented out for private use and events as part of their special services.

FASTER’s complete, real-time data enhances management staff’s ability to make proactive decisions to maximize availability, usage, and cost effectiveness of resources. For more information about FASTER Fleet Management System, or to request a demo CD, contact Allan Richardson (West Coast) and/or M. Lynn Stuart (East Coast) at (800)753-2783 or send an e-mail to ccg.marketing.web@ccgsystems.com.
