TALLAHASSEE, FL – The city of Tallahassee's Fleet Management Division passed Fleet Counselor Services Inc.'s rigorous 18 criteria and received certification. The division is now among the only 10 fleet operations in the nation to be fleet certified. Fleet Manager Terry Lowe and staff decided it was in the fleet's best interest to get certified to know if their operation runs efficiently, is cost effective and provides quality service. The city of Tallahassee is the fifth FASTER end user to receive this certification. Other FASTER fleet-certified sites include Lee County, Fla., Greeley, Colo., Salt Lake County, Utah, and Grapevine, Texas.
