GM Remains 'Committed to Fleet and Commercial Customers'

DETROIT – General Motors promised "strong commitment" to fleet and commercial customers "remains unchanged," according to Jim Campbell, GM general manager fleet and commercial operations, in a statement addressing the automaker's June 1 bankruptcy.

VALLEJO, CA – Facing labor contract obligations that overwhelm expected revenues, the Vallejo, Calif., City Council voted May 6 to declare Chapter 9 bankruptcy.
