Montgomery County Gets Creative to Save on Fuel

MONTGOMERY, AL – A year and a half ago the Montgomery County Commission deconstructed the typical five-day work-week schedule and overlayed it with a new, four-day work-week, 10-hour a day routine. The change was a move to save money on fuel.

Montgomery County Urges Residents’ Use of Ethanol & CNG Fueling Stations

WASHINGTON – With the average nationwide price at the pump hitting $3.26 a gallon, Montgomery County is reminding the public that there are cheaper alternatives available for those driving flexible fuel or compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles.
