CNG Fuel System Inspector Training and CNG Fueling Station Operation & Maintenance Training Now Available

DOWNEY, CA – The National Gas Vehicle Institute (NGVi) is offering the following courses at the Energy Resource Center in Downey, Calif.

Nov. 18-19: CNG Fueling Station Operation & Maintenance Training. This two-day course provides complete, in-depth instruction on best practices for natural gas fueling station operation and maintenance. This course is ideal for station maintenance personnel who need to develop and implement effective routine maintenance and safety plans. Attendees receive a certificate of course completion, upon getting at least 70 percent correct on the course exam. Registration fee: $695 through Oct. 17 and $795 after that date.

Nov. 20-21: CNG Fuel System Inspector Training*. Formerly called the NGV Fuel Storage Cylinder Inspection Training, this two-day course focuses on teaching the proper techniques for inspecting on-board compressed natural gas fueling systems. Attendees will learn the proper methods to use to ensure vehicle fuel storage safety and integrity. The training includes hands-on inspection of vehicle fuel cylinders. Registration fee: $695 through Oct. 17 and $795 after that date.

*At the end of the Cylinder Inspection Course, you may choose to take the CSA Certification exam for a fee of $375.
