Driver, Technician, and Fuel Handler Safety Training for LNG-Powered Vehicles

ANAHEIM, CA – Sponsored by the Natural Gas Vehicle Institute, a one-day course, to be held Aug. 19 at the Doubletree Hotel in Anaheim, Calif., is devoted to training drivers, technicians, and fuel handlers on safe driving, fueling, and operating practices of today’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) vehicles.

 

Attendees will learn information necessary to ensure that fleets powered by LNG are driven, fueled, and maintained in a facility that meet or exceed current safety standards. They will also learn the safety features of the LNG fuel storage and delivery system. Each attendee receives a manual and a certificate of completion.

Among other things attendees will learn:

· Properties of LNG.

 

· LNG fueling equipment and safety practices.

 

· LNG safety equipment.

 

· LNG station safety evaluation.

 

· LNG vehicle technology.

 

· Safe fueling and de-fueling of a LNG vehicle.
