Minnesota’s Use of E-85 Up 25%

ST. PAUL, MN - According to the American Lung Association of Minnesota, the SmartFleet Committee estimates the 2,500 flexible fuel vehicles used 816,568 gallons of E-85 in 2009, up from 650,036 gallons used in 2008.

City of Moline Looks to Save Fuel Costs With E-85 Tank

MOLINE, IL – The City of Moline will save an estimated $27,591 next year in fuel costs by installing its own E-85 tank. The 10,000-gallon tank at the city’s public works garage also will be used by Rock Island County and Metro, the mass transit district.

Minnesota State Agencies Double E-85 Fuel Use in 2007

ST. PAUL, MN – Minnesota state agencies more than doubled their use of E-85 last year, purchasing 412,500 gallons of E-85 from retailers, nearly a 250 percent increase over the 165,500 gallons purchased in 2006.
