DEER PARK, N.Y.– Vehicle Tracking Solutions (VTS), a Long Island-based GPS fleet management provider, has added a government contract service component to its existing company operation. The newly formed division will focus its efforts on identifying, contacting, and submitting proposals to various local, county, and state agencies that operate vehicle fleets. Since the inception of the Government Contract Division, VTS has acquired contracts with several government agencies.

“As the vehicle tracking industry continues to grow, we recognize the significant benefits available to the public sector through the application of fleet tracking solutions,” said John Cunningham Jr., president of VTS. “Local and state government agencies using VTS fleet tracking can experience reduced fuel costs and increased productivity. Government officials will be able to ensure that publicly funded equipment is being properly utilized.”
