Commercial Fleets
AirIQ’s service offering for Commercial Fleets includes rental vehicles, trucks, trailers, service vehicles and construction equipment. Vehicle assets are the most valuable and largest investment for most commercial fleet business owners. There are also many challenges related to efficiently running a large fleet business, including total fleet visibility, utilization and security. With AirIQ, business owners are able to save their time and resources by keeping in touch with their mobile assets from virtually anywhere, at anytime. AirIQ’s clients use location-based information to reduce losses, improve security, optimize fleet utilization and automate processes, making operations run more efficiently.

Consumer Services
AirIQ’s presence in the consumer vehicle tracking market is anchored by security and safety services for drivers, vehicles and loved ones. Consumer services also provide convenience and savings features as well.

AirIQ’s marketing and sales strategy for the consumer has two objectives: to offer its own consumer brand – called MobileIQ™ -- and to license and/or private label its end-to-end consumer offering. As well as vehicle recovery, AirIQ offers additional features to enhance the consumer experience. MobileIQ provides Intelligent Vehicle Protection with the real-time street-level location of a consumer’s vehicle available virtually anywhere at anytime. In other words, MobileIQ puts the power in the hands of the consumer by giving them the ability to access vehicle information and receive automated notifications on demand. For example, a MobileIQ customer can remotely unlock their driver door using the Internet or a touch-tone telephone; or automatically receive notification of a possible theft via email or a cell phone.

AirIQ serves the consumer segment indirectly by selling products and services to a variety of dealers and agents. These include retail shops, expediters, new car dealers, online retailers, direct and telemarketing sales firms. AirIQ offers a complete technology solution, enabling independent businesses to enter the industry and serve their customers with AirIQ’s technology.

Marine Fleets
Under the Boatracs® brand, AirIQ’s Marine Fleet division provides wireless location and messaging services to inland, fishing, government, and offshore vessels. For over a decade, Boatracs has been a leader in the maritime communications industry, and has extended its services to marine fleets across North America.

The marine solutions are backed by a Network Operations Center (NOC) that operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Staying in touch with loved ones at home is an important service Boatracs provides to fishermen at sea. The commercial fishing industry benefits from using Boatracs by ensuring accurate information transmissions between fishing boats and shore operations. In addition, the Boatracs system is one of only a few nationally approved Enhanced Vessel Management Systems (VMS). National Marine Fisheries has approved the Boatracs VMS systems for use in the regulation and management of certain commercial fisheries. The National Marine Fisheries Service expects to require Enhanced VMS systems on eight to ten thousand new vessels over the next two years.

Boatracs supplies services to government vessels including the U.S. Coast Guard, Department of the Navy, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and is compliant with the U.S. Homeland Security requirements. Comprehensive logistics and business management tools offer the offshore oil and gas markets accurate, real-time information needed to automate business processes, strategize vessel deployment, bill promptly, improve customer service and generate revenue.

Vehicle Finance
The Vehicle Finance division sells location-based products and services to sub-prime, “buy-here-pay-here” and vehicle leasing businesses. With AirIQ’s services, these customers protect their vehicles by enabling easy repossession when financing is in default.

AirIQ’s patent-protected solution for vehicle finance uses wireless tracking, or other means of data transfer to and from a vehicle, to recover a vehicle that has been used as collateral for a loan or lease. When there is a default, the vehicle finance company needs to repossess their vehicle assets quickly to minimize damage and reduce potential increased debt.

AirIQ enables vehicle finance customers to capitalize on market share by providing the extra protection needed to offer vehicles to individuals that may carry a higher than normal risk. AirIQ’s technology and service create a valuable tool for the vehicle finance industry.
