Multiple ambulances in Cleveland County, N.C., suffered damage after a weekend snowstorm caused a carport to collapse. The affected vehicles were spares, and not part of the primary emergency response fleet, reported WCNC. But the incident is making county officials rethink their structures.

According to the Shelby Star, melting snow refroze and weighed down the carports, which were set up near a fire station. At the time of the incident, Cleveland County’s EMS director told the Shelby Star that he believes damage was done to five ambulances.
