Kandiyohi County, Minn., has agreed to enter into a lease program for its Sheriff’s Office vehicles, which is projected to save $823,000 over the next five years, The West Central Tribune reported.

The deal with Enterprise Fleet Management would allow the county to order 10 new vehicles this year, including patrol cars, transport vehicles, and trucks. The Sheriff's Office would normally budget to replace six vehicles. If the leasing program is successful, the county may expand it to other departments.
